Amana fault codes

40 documented codes for Amana furnaces and air conditioners, each cited to the manufacturer's own manual. Amana and Goodman are both Daikin Comfort Technologies brands built in Waller, TX on the same platforms and the same integrated control boards. One installation manual covers both, using a wildcard model number (for example *MVC96 = GMVC96 and AMVC96), so a code means the same thing on either brand. Daikin-branded furnaces of the same generation use these controls too..

EbLThe circulator blower motor is drawing far less current than expected after the heat-on delay, so the control locks the furnace outHard lockout
nonEThe display shows 'nonE' or nothing at all - the control has no power, or the board is deadHard lockout
EALOn an R-32 refrigerant system, the leak sensor detected refrigerant and put the furnace into mitigation mode - the blower runs to disperse it and normal heating is suspendedSafety fault
