LG Mini-Split Code CH60
Hard lockoutShown as: Outdoor LED01 (red) blinks 6 times, LED02 (green) does not blink
Outdoor unit PCB EEPROM check sum error. The memory chip on the outdoor control board that stores the unit's identity and factory parameters failed its integrity check.
Manual wording: “Outdoor unit printed circuit board (PCB) EEPROM check sum error”
Documented for: All LG residential mini-split outdoor units
What you can safely check yourself
- Turn the system off at the breaker for three minutes and back on
When to call a technician
A failed EEPROM checksum means the outdoor control board cannot trust its own configuration. A technician has to replace the board.
A LG mini-split throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
