Likely causes, most common first
- Blocked filters
- Blocked or restrictive ductwork
- Improper circulator blower speed
- Failed circulator blower motor
- Loose or improperly connected wiring
What you can safely check yourself
- Check the air filter and replace it if dirty
- Open all supply registers and clear anything blocking them
- Make sure the return air grille is clear
When to call a technician
If it repeats after a clean filter, the blower or duct system needs a technician. Never jumper a limit switch.
A Goodman furnace throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
