When to call a technician
C4 is a failed or disconnected temperature sensor inside the indoor unit. A technician has to measure the thermistor's resistance and reseat or replace it.
A Daikin mini-split throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
