- Note that the furnace is likely still heating; schedule service rather than treating it as an emergency
When to call a technician
Schedule service before it turns into an ignition lockout. Cleaning or repositioning a flame sensor means opening the burner compartment, which is a technician's job.
A Trane furnace throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
