Documented for: AUU18-48RGLX, ARU12-48RGLX
Likely causes, most common first
- Indoor fan caught, dropped off its shaft, or the motor is locked
- Excessively high ambient temperature around the fan motor from nearby equipment
- Failed indoor fan motor
- Failed indoor controller PCB
What you can safely check yourself
- Replace or clean the return air filter
- Make sure supply and return grilles are open and not blocked by furniture or drapes
- Turn the power off at the breaker for about 5 minutes and back on
When to call a technician
Checking the blower wheel and motor windings means removing panels with the unit powered. Have a technician do it.
A Fujitsu mini-split throwing this code repeatedly has a reason — clearing the code without fixing the cause just hides it.
